Meet the Craftsmen
Ricky
Founder
Ricky has always loved animals and has wanted to keep them in the house. When he was young he would go to the Strebel's taxidermy shop in Ogden every year for his birthday. His love for hunting and this dream drove him to learn the trade in 2010. Since then, he's built True to Life Taxidermy into a trusted name in the Utah taxidermy community.
Renee
Lead Taxidermist
Years later, Ricky is teaching his passion to his son Renee. Renee has worked alongside his father for many years doing Europeans and helping with mounts. After graduating college, Renee is now working full-time with his father, carrying on the family tradition and bringing fresh energy to the craft.
